Steve Braun
Owner
Project Manager & Consultant
Steve is the founder and owner of Braun's Painting, LLC. In addition to guiding the company's vision and strategy, Steve is actively involved in the day to day operations as Project Manager.
Steve maintains primary oversight of project scheduling, execution, and quality. Steve is also responsible for all sales & marketing, including customer consultation and estimating.
In addition to his background as a painter & tradesmen, Steve has worked for major corporations like PPG, Pella, and Xerox. Steve is a graduate of Onondaga Central High School ('97) and earned a BA in Public Relations from SUNY Oswego ('02).
Steve resides in Camillus with his wife and high school sweetheart, Genevieve, their 18 year-old son Wyatt, and 7-pound mega-hound Ripley.
Steve enjoys the outdoors, writing humor, and loves his NY Mets and NY Giants. Steve has coached youth baseball and basketball. You can read more about Steve's background here.
Matt Braun
Project Foreman
Professional Painter
Matt is a Project Foreman for Braun's Painting, LLC. In addition to his work as a professional painter, Matt provides oversight of onsite project execution, quality control, customer communications and employee development.
Matt joined Braun's Painting in 2017 to help his brother Steve take the business to the next level.
Matt is a 1993 graduate of Onondaga Central, and has a diverse career background that includes property maintenance, sales, and service management.
Matt resides on Onondaga Hill with his wife Tara, son Jake, daughter Clara, and their cat Charlie. Matt has a love for ATV's, motorcycles, and football.
Colin Hewitt
Professional Painter
Colin is a Professional Painter for Braun's Painting, LLC and has responsibility for onsite project execution according to standard operating procedures, ensuring ongoing service quality, and customer service.
Colin joined Braun's Painting in 2021 and has established himself as a top level talent in the trade.
Colin is a graduate of Marcellus Central Schools, and further developed his artistic talent at Pratt MWP Art Institute, where he earned an Associate's Degree in Communication Design & Branding, Fine Art, Illustration, & Sculpture. He has also studied art abroad in Venice, Italy and at the Maryland Institute College of Art
Colin is an accomplished muralist with noteworthy success both locally in CNY and in Los Angeles, CA and has a substantial portfolio of work in both classical art and digital media and branding.
Colin resides in Marcellus with his dog Maizy and cat Gifford. He loves the outdoors and is passionate about the game of chess and is a musician at heart, able to play the piano, drums, and bass.
Genevieve Braun
Administration & Marketing
Genevieve serves as an Administrative & Marketing assistant at Braun's Painting, LLC. Genevieve helps with office management, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, HR, and a myriad of other administrative tasks and special projects. Genevieve also provides sales and marketing support and helps with the company's online and social media presence.
Genevieve joined the company in 2022 to help her husband Steve grow the family business. She added to her responsibilities in 2023.
Genevieve has previously worked in insurance, medical supply fulfillment, and retail management for many years.
Genevieve resides in Camillus with Steve and their 18 year old son Wyatt, and their yorkipoo Ripley. Genevieve is passionate about music (especially Pearl Jam and 90's grunge), trivia, movies/TV, and some sports. (especially watching Wyatt play baseball).
Keri Braun
Bookkeeper & Payroll
Keri serves as an Administrative & Marketing assistant at Braun's Painting, LLC. Keri helps with bookkeeping and payroll.
Keri joined the team in 2020 to help her brother-in-law Steve grow the business.
Keri is known for winning the Camillus Hoop Shoot competition as a 12-year-old by sinking 19 of 20 foul shots! She's been known to brag from time to time and has the newspaper article to prove it!
Keri resides in Camillus and has three amazing kids, Declan, Aidan, and Keira, and her dog Otis. Keri loves to rollerblade, spend time with her family, and enjoys music, comedy, & baking. (elite brownie maker)
